In the overwhelming summer heat of New Orleans, Southern-belle Blanche DuBois (Patsy Ferran), a troubled former schoolteacher, has moved in with her younger sister, Stella Kowalski (Anjana Vasan) and her husband, Stanley Kowalski (Oscar Nominee Paul Mescal). Blanche brings with her a past that will threaten the Kowalski's seemingly already troubled future which only leads to even greater conflict, changing all of their lives forever.
